๐ London, Greater London
North London arcade specialising in imported Japanese competitive fighting, rhythm, and racing games including Initial D simulators and House of the Dead. Pay once, play all day format with a large game library.
The entrance was hard for us to find and not clearly labelled at all. It is a small door within the large, colorful bay door. There was no signage. As for the place itself, it was amazing and I highly recommend it. I will return. I have a feeling they purposefully make it difficult to find and it isn't clearly advertised because they want it to remain a hidden gem to those who know about it.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with teenagers and older children who are serious about arcade gaming and appreciate Japanese imports not available elsewhere. The all-day format rewards longer visits.

โI was so excited when I saw the amount of selection of games and activities they had to offer. They are also placed in a very nice location where you can step in and out at will and also park you car care free. Everyone there was very welcoming and helpful, 100% recommend anyone to give this place a go.โ

โA dream of an arcade. Such fun, and an absolute bargain. We visited on a Saturday and stayed about five hours. There's nowhere else where you get that amount of entertainment for the price. Initial D and House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn were the highlights, but there was so much on offer. Amazing.โ

โVery cool place with friendly staff. A number of the machines werenโt working, but there are still plenty of games to choose from so it didnโt ruin the experience. The dance machines tend to be busy and often taken over by the same groups. Iโm not really a rhythm gamer though, so it wasnโt a big issue for us. One downside was the menโs toilets โ thereโs no door on the toilet cubicle, which means if you need to use it properly thereโs no privacy at all.โ

Overview
FreePlayCity stocks a large selection of imported Japanese arcade machines alongside classic titles, covering competitive fighting games, dance and rhythm machines, racing simulators like Initial D, and light-gun games including House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn. Entry covers unlimited play. The entrance is unmarked โ look for a small door within a large coloured bay door. Some machines go out of service periodically. Cleanliness is inconsistent according to some reviews.
