Happy Hour Workshop
📍 Salford, North West
Indoor venue in Salford combining craft workshops — cream gel decorating, money jar painting, slime making, Hama beads — with under-6s soft play and role-play areas. All ages welcome. Loyalty card offers every 10th visit free.
We’re frequent visitors to this play centre, and it never disappoints. The role-play areas are a hit with our child every time, offering a fun and immersive experience where they can pretend to be chefs, doctors and more. It’s always a joy to watch them engage in such creative play! The soft play area is spacious and well-designed, allowing the little ones to run, jump, and explore safely. We really appreciate how clean and well-maintained the entire centre is – it’s always spotless, which gives us peace of mind. The staff here are consistently friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. Their helpfulness is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Another huge plus is the pricing – it’s extremely fair, especially for the quality of the experience. Plus, the location is so convenient, making it a perfect spot for regular visits. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone with young kids looking for a fun, safe, and affordable outing.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across a wide age range — the craft tables engage older children and adults independently from the soft play section for under-6s. Parents of multiple children find the split particularly useful.

“We’ve been coming to HappyHour Workshop for well over a year now and can honestly say it’s one of the best play places in the Northwest when it comes down to value for money! We absolutely love it, there is something for every child, no matter their age. The soft play area is fun and the ideal size for toddlers, you can build train tracks, magnetic tiles or play in Kinetic sand as well as lots of role play. Having identical twins it can often be difficult to find places that don’t cost the earth AND the play area is contained so I’m not worried about losing sight of one of my twins! The staff are super warm and welcoming, and they even often a loyalty card so every 10th visit is free! 100% pay a visit here!”

“I came with my two daughters and they absolutely loved decorating their own tablet cases. We brought these with us from home and they were able to decorate with glue and charms. The ladies who ran the place were so kind and patient, we didn't feel like we had to rush at all. The tablet cases which need a couple of days to decide were packed so we'll that they stayed completely in place the whole day as I had to return home on public transport. My girls said they had the best afternoon and I would highly recommend this place, it's far for us to travel but we will definitely go back!”

“We booked our little boys birthday for here and everyone had a fantastic time, it was great value and Lili and the team made everyone’s day by helping with set up and helping all the children with a craft! The party was a perfect place cause there was something for everyone to do. If I could give it 6 stars I would! Thank you”
