Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre
π Ruislip, Greater London
Swimming pool and fitness centre with birthday party options and swimming lessons for all ages. Features pram access, toddler-friendly facilities, and pay-and-display parking. Lesson programme has reported inconsistency issues.
I take my son in here for swimming lessons. Happy with the provisions. They have swimming pool, gym, group classes etc. there is ample parking (pay n display) too . Staff seem to be friendly. The only issue I have faced was that their process of changing swimming lessons (days) are very complicated.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for casual family swimming and fitness classes with convenient parking. The pool facilities work well for recreational swimming. Families seeking a structured progression-based swim lesson programme should research current teacher consistency before enrolling β recent feedback points to a high turnover of instructors and overcrowded classes.

βI was a member and re joined after the refurbishment. The previous set up was much better. The weight section is too cramped and the cardio section also. And some of the machines in the cardio section do not function properly. A good gym gone down!β

βUnprofessional management who is taking responsibility for our kids who Wants to learn swimming. No programme at all. My kid is doing baby steps in section two for last 4months. Very frustrated for my kid and parents. Everytime is diffrent teacher, for 20mins they walking in the water or playing with section 1. one week they doing without floating and next time With floating. Very often is changing teachers in one session. I asked for assessment for section 3, everytime is in two weeks. Everytime I hear lies regarding assessments for next section. I have been lied twice already. Dear parents, please choose wisely swimming lessons for your children. Dear Hillingdon Council, please scrutinise the Highgrove pool regarding teaching swimming. Zero management. Highgrove is wasting time at this time unless there will be clear programme for kids in place.β

βThe club itself is generally clean, but the downside is definitely the people who go there. Some of the staff act quite childish and donβt seem to understand respect. In the mornings, it feels like a pensionersβ club, and in the evenings, itβs more like a nursery β honestly, itβs a bit of a joke. Thatβs just my opinion, though. Iβd wouldn't recommend it if youβre just there to lift or sports. The gym is very small, people sit chatting on the machines for ages, and there are often three personal trainers working at the same time β which makes it feel crowded and unprofessional.β

Overview
Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre offers pool facilities, group fitness classes, birthday party hire, and a structured swimming lesson programme covering all ages. Pay-and-display parking is on-site with spaces generally available. Pram access and accessible changing are in place. Recent reviews flag high class-to-instructor ratios in swimming lessons and frequent teacher rotations without a consistent curriculum across sessions.
