1 / 2Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf - Birmingham
📍 Nechells, West Midlands
Two indoor 18-hole adventure golf courses — Hidden Cove and Lost Hut Trail — at Star City in Birmingham. Licensed bar on site with cocktails and mocktails. Birthday packages available for ages 5–15.
We came here the other day and enjoyed both courses. The place is a little dated but that didn't affect the quality of the gold courses. The staff member was extremely helpful and friendly.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A functional indoor golf option for families seeking shelter from the weather, with friendly staff who consistently receive praise. The courses are showing their age and the venue runs hot and loud — music has been flagged as unsuitable for younger children.

“I come here regularly, the location is easy to access. The courses are ok, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The course itself has not changed in many years, it’s still the same as 10-15 years ago. It closed recently before being taken over, and it did have some work done to it, however that seems to of stopped. The interior is confused. The course is aimed at children, however there is a drinks bar, and the music is generally R&B and Rap, so the ‘Jungle’ decor that has always been there, doesn’t seem to fit the new vibe. They also recently painted the walls and ceilings, replacing a light baby blue colour, with all glossy black, so it just feels really dark in there. The courses are also 18-holes long which can feel quite long. There is also a lot of arcade equipment downstairs as you come in that is either broken or just off, so it seems to be being used as storage. The escalators are out of order but have been for probably over a year now, and the final hole on one of the courses has been out of order for months now. Overall, it’s a decent experience at a good enough price, friendly staff and a good location. However there are better alternatives a short distance away, if you’re willing to make the journey and pay a little more”

“It felt too stuffy and hot whilst playing at the top. When you’re in a group of four or more players, that should be taken into account of the next players they send on the same course especially when the next group of two or three is waiting behind. It was annoying feeling like we had to rush our game knowing a queue was building, and not everyone in our team got to play properly. Overall it was boring, and I won’t be going again. The lady at reception was polite and friendly though, which was nice.”

“Really disappointed. The course is very basic and looks tired — it desperately needs some care and updating. The place was far too hot, and the music was blaring with tracks that weren’t appropriate for kids. It’s a great location and there aren’t many indoor mini golf options around, but they seriously need to sort it out and bring it up to standard. Staff were friendly though, which was the one positive.”
