1 / 2Lammas lower playground and splash park (waterpark)
📍 Staines, Greater London
Free splash pad, playground, and riverside park in Staines with Thames walks, boat hire, a small golf pitch, and a café. Splash park operating hours vary — confirm before visiting.
It is an amazing place to relax, was my first visit ever to the Lammas Park and won’t be the last , the park is huge and with a lot to do, a small golf pitch, seats alongside the river, boats to hire , car park by the river walk etc. The water area for kids was the best ,even though we didn’t stay long as my son hates cold water ,he was shivering but will go back again when it is really hot so he enjoys it more , the Cafe by the play ground also serves sandwiches, hot/cold drinks ,snacks etc. it was an amazing experience.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children who want active water play combined with river walks on a hot summer day. The combination of splash pad, playground, boat hire, and riverside setting supports a full afternoon visit.

Overview
Lammas lower playground sits beside the Thames, combining a popular splash pad with traditional playground equipment and extensive riverside walking paths. The park also features boat hire, seating along the river edge, and a small golf pitch. A café serves food, drinks, and ice cream. The splash pad water runs cold — most enjoyable on genuinely hot days. Free entry throughout. Well-maintained facilities across the site.
