📍 Huddersfield, North West
Large laser tag venue in Huddersfield with an 8,000 square foot arena, computer-controlled equipment, theatre-grade smoke and lighting, and birthday party packages with catering. Minimum age 5. No cafe — party room food only.
My son had his birthday party here, we got the catered package. The hotdogs are actually massive and went down a treat after an action packed game. They had Nachos and cheese dip and a slushy as well, the cake provided was delicious. A chocolate cake with happy birthday written on. They definitely were all refreshed and ready for another game. Thank you.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The strongest choice for birthday parties for ages 8 and over in the Huddersfield area, with party packages that include food, a function room and multiple games rounds. The self-catering option gives flexibility not available at most competitors.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Laser Zone = Epic Family Fun! What an awesome day out! We had an absolute blast at Laser Zone — it was non-stop fun from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and before the games began we watched a quick health and safety video that was actually really helpful (and not boring at all!). Once we got our vests on, the excitement kicked in — the names on them were hilarious! I got Darth Vader (yes, I may have taken that a little too seriously 😅), and my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. The maze was huge, filled with awesome props, lights, and loads of sneaky hiding spots — perfect for some serious family competition. There’s also a cozy little café and a gaming zone, so there’s plenty to do even when you’re taking a breather. The prices were really reasonable too, which is always a win! We’re already planning our next visit — it’s such a fun and healthy way for the kids to burn energy, make friends, and build some real-life agility and teamwork skills. Only small downside: parking is a bit tricky since it’s shared with other businesses, but we managed to find a spot (and there’s a B&M nearby if you get stuck). Overall, Laser Zone was a total hit — fair, safe, super well-organized, and most importantly… ridiculously fun! 🚀”

“Had my daughter's party here, hadn't been before. The kids all had a good time. The price for the party was spot on compared to most. I liked that they offer a self catering option as this isn't an option at other Lazer tag venues. Also liked that they played 1 game then stopped for food then had another game before the party ended. Staff were friendly. My only qualms were you couldn't reserve seating for the parents or set up a tab but they are minor things really, as we could have waited in the party room but me and other parents prefered to wait up stairs and order refreshments which we did eventually manage to do. Over all we had a good party, the kids were happy and that's all that mattered. To add I've had a party at Lazer tag in Xscape and the venue may be more modern but I did prefer this place for price and self catering option. I think the arena is bigger here too.”
