Longford Community Nature Park
π Longford, West Midlands
Large community nature park in Longford, Coventry with extensive walking paths and open spaces. Hosts community events including live music. Pram-accessible routes available, with muddy conditions common in wet weather.
Walked through this park unintentionally because I followed googles alternative route. I then almost got stuck in the mud multiple times and had to walk back with my mud covered shoes in my hand, not to mention it was also nearly dark so that added a fear factor. 10/10 experience, would definitely almost die again to reliveππ½
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who enjoy relaxed nature walks and open community spaces. The large scale suits older children on longer walks and families attending events. Pack appropriate footwear in wet conditions as mud is a genuine obstacle β small children and small dogs struggle more on the uneven, overgrown sections.

Overview
Longford Community Nature Park is a large open-space park with walking paths, pram-accessible routes, and open grassland. The park hosts community events including steel band performances. Paths can become heavily muddy in wet conditions, and grass maintenance is inconsistent. The site is larger than it appears on the map and rewards extended exploration on dry days.
