My young 'un had a fab time on the railway - ÂŖ2.50 for unlimited go's. The railway starts by the shop / toilets and travels accross the park to the wooded area and stream, circles a couple of times and heads back. All credit to the 'fat controller' who was running it he was literally coming back and turning it straight round for another trip!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with young children who love trains, particularly ages 2–8. The scenic route through trees and over bridges gives each ride genuine appeal. The park's stream adds a bonus activity on warm days, making a full morning or afternoon visit easy to fill. Large families should factor in the adult-must-ride requirement when budgeting.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Buy the all-day unlimited ticket rather than single rides for better value
⏰Adults must accompany children on the train — factor this into your group's plan
đŸŽŸī¸The stream is popular for paddling on warm days — bring a change of clothes
🚗Bring a picnic; the park has good open areas for outdoor dining

“ÂŖ2 single ride. Or ÂŖ2.50 all day. Nice conductor. Fun very well layed out track. Takes a good amount of time to go round so it feels just the right length. Get to go over bridges (stream) and thought a wood. Ace.”
