5 Stars β Amazing Experience and Exceptional Kindness! We had a wonderful visit to Matlock Farm Park yesterday. It was a truly special day because my 10-year-old daughter got to touch horses for the very first time in her life! She was so happy and spent a long time bonding with the horses, sheep, and the kangaroos. A few highlights from our visit: Affordable Fun: The animal food is very cheap, and it was great to see so many kids' activities available with no extra fees. Wonderful Animals: The interaction with the animals is fantasticβmy daughter didn't want to leave them! Superior Customer Service: We unfortunately missed the pony ride at the end of the day. The front desk staff were so supportive and gave me the management's email address. I sent an email that evening and was amazed to get a reply the very next morning ( Ms.Lotty) ! They kindly arranged for my daughter to come back for her pony ride without charging us for another full dayβs entry. The staff are incredibly friendly and really care about their visitors. This kind of service is rare, and it made our experience unforgettable. We feel very happy and will definitely be recommending this park to everyone!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a structured, full-day animal experience with exceptional customer service at every touchpoint. Children of all ages find something meaningful here β toddlers through to older kids connect with different animals. Plan your visit around the daily timetable to catch talks and feeding sessions.

βA really lovely experience today. The farm is laid out very well so that even on sold out days it didn't feel crowded except in the cafe. Plenty of animals to see and feed. A great timetable of activities throughout the day. Lots of different play areas suitable for all ages including indoor, covered and outdoor frames as well as a bouncy pillow. The parking is good - there was a helper directing people and they have an overspill, not marked bays if you care about that. The toilets were all nice and actually clean and there were plenty of them in sensible places so you didn't have to trek back. Coffee including alternative milks, seemed pretty allergy aware in their cafe and managed to feed my toddler with severe allergies without incident. Plenty of handwashing stations with hot water and good soap!! We enjoyed petting the alpaca and the rabbit. I hope they incorporate tractor rides one day because that would be the icing on the cake for my toddler. We usually frequent White Post Farm or Manor Park Farm but this might be our new favourite!β

βWe have organised our childβs Birthday Party at Matlock Farm and it was fantastic. Overall service and support on the day were brilliant. We had an access to a cosy party room and a selection of hot and cold food was served. Please bring your own birthday cake. If you are staying for the day, I highly recommend planning out what are you going to do step by step as there is so much to explore! Pony rides were definitely a highlight of the day. All children received a free entry pass and Β£12 voucher for the birthday child was available. This was a nice surprise. You may wish to decorate the party room, although not a must as it was painted beautifully! Best birthday party yet, I highly recommend it!β
