We had THE most wonderful afternoon at Mayfield. We went on a 30 minute Alpaca walk with Madge, Monty and our guide Peter, who was so knowledgeable and his manner with the animals was so lovely. We were then left to have a wander around and see all the animals. It was less than £30 for the alpaca walk and time to see the rest of the sanctuary, which was great. The cafe is also gorgeous. What an incredible place ❤️

“Did the 90mins alpaca experience and it was good fun. Everyone was super friendly and our ‘farm guide’ Peter was really knowledgeable, talked in great detail about all the animals but in a way that kept it fun and engaging. The alpaca experience was 50% alpacas, 50% other animals which I actually quite liked. Good value for money. And the cafe was nice too, with a good selection of sweet and savoury.”

“An amazing day from arrival. Made to feel very welcome. We had booked the Alpaca Experience and walked them around the site. Our guide Ben was brilliant and really engaged and knowledgeable. Animals are all clearly loved and looked after it was a wonderful place to visit. We would whole heartily recommend it as a part of any family's visit to the Peak District.”

“My friends and I can here as part of our weekend away.. we are so glad we did! Didn’t disappoint. Peter was so informative and just lovely with the animals, can tell he loves his job. Nipped to the cafe, beautiful selection of cakes etc.. Tina was wonderful and obviously also loves where she works. Thank you for a lovely day!”
