Miller's Ark Animals
📍 Hook, Greater London
Working farm in Hook offering hands-on encounters with miniature donkeys, Kune Kune pigs, rare breed sheep, goats, and cattle. Open days, birthday parties, and Farmer for a Day experiences available. On-site cafe included.
My partner & I visited on one of their "Adult only" open days. We we're not disappointed AT ALL!! A very warm & welcoming farm, with beautiful animals and kind staff. They have a range of birds, pigs, goats, donkeys, horses, ponies & sheep. You can get up close with the animals. The price is very good for the experience you get and there is a cafe if you fancy some food or drink afterwards. The car parking is free and a short walk to the farm. Signing in was very quick and easy. You are left to explore in your own time and pace. I would 100% recommend to all my friends & family!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with young children who want close-up, hands-on contact with farm animals. Visitors can enter enclosures and handle animals directly. Many recent reviews are from adult-only open days, so check the calendar for family open days before booking. Lambing season and Christmas events are particularly recommended for children.

“We visited Miller’s Ark Animals for their Adults Day last weekend and absolutely loved it. We spent time with adorable dinky donkeys, cows, sheep, goats, lambs, and some very noisy pigs. It was such a fun, hands-on experience! The whole place feels calm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, and the staff clearly adore the animals. If you’re looking for a relaxed, up-close animal experience, I’d really recommend a visit to Miller’s Ark. We can’t wait to return!”

“Amazing, every staff member was lovely and friendly and helpful. every animal was beautiful, we got to see 8 day old goats, lambs, a tiny baby donkey, full grown horses, donkeys and cows, pigs, and you can go in all their enclosures and stroke them. Cafe millionaires cake was a bit naff but inside cafe itself was nice, toilets clean, hand washing stations had foot steps for littles and actual warm water. Hand gel for cleaning everywhere as well”

“If you are looking for that extra special event to add the true Christmas spirit to your festivities then the living nativity is a must to see. The team put on an excellent show and the animals are the cutest you've ever seen and all very friendly. Great atmosphere, lovely attention to detail. I must to see this Christmas.”
