⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Family Escape Room Experience! This was our third time doing an escape room, and Mission: Breakout in Camden Town was easily one of the best experiences we’ve had. Booking was incredibly easy—as soon as I purchased the tickets, I received a confirmation along with friendly, welcoming texts and emails leading up to our visit. It set a really positive tone before we even arrived. When we got there, the staff were polite, helpful, and welcoming, getting us into the spirit straight away. The atmosphere of the venue was spooky in all the right ways and added so much to the adventure. The escape room itself was full of fun and surprises, and we loved that we moved through several different rooms as part of the experience. Every member of our group got the chance to participate in solving puzzles and completing tasks, which made it feel really engaging for everyone. A big shout-out to the staff member watching over our game—they were absolutely brilliant. They only stepped in when we genuinely needed help (and as we’re not the smartest family, we were grateful for the hints here and there!). Their support was perfectly timed and never took away from the challenge. We managed to finish just in time, which made the whole experience even more exciting. Overall, if you're a family or group looking for a fun and immersive adventure, I highly recommend Mission: Breakout. The staff were lovely, the venue was atmospheric, and the game was fantastic from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back for our next challenge!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with older children and teens aged nine and above who enjoy collaborative problem-solving under time pressure. The puzzle difficulty is calibrated to engage without frustrating — game masters step in with hints before groups stall.

Underground 2099 at Mission: Breakout was a blast! We booked for a session in late December but some in our group couldn't make it for the day we originally planned. Nonetheless, Mission: Breakout very kindly helped move our booking over the phone to the next day and it was all sorted out very quickly. On the day we arrived on time but slightly late within the recommended 10-15 minutes window for debriefing and getting ready in general but the staff were very accommodating and got us ready for our game. The escape rooms were super immersive and utilized the space in the old underground station very well! There were a wide variety of games that were challenging but also creative and fun to play. A big thank you to Professor Trix and Reggie the Rat for being a great Game Master and guiding us through any tasks! We will definitely visit again in the future to take on the other escape rooms and highly recommend anyone reading this to visit!

Shoutout Martyna for making this such a great experience! My first ever escape room for my bday and me and my mates had a lovely time! So many laughs, and totally recommend the fright night experience. We did the 2099 room and it was challenging enough that we had to work together to figure it out but not so challenging that we felt disheartened. Can’t wait to try the other rooms! So many laughs and fun memories, thanks for being a part of such a special day :)

This was such a brilliant experience! As escape room novices we didn't really know what to expect, but our games master Jack explained everything really clearly and provided just enough support to help us through without giving anything away. We did the Lost Passenger and managed to escape with less than a minute left on the clock. Would love to return and complete the other two games! Big thanks to Jack whose enthusiasm made the experience even more fun.
