“Absolutely loving my new fitness journey at Newham leisure center 🔥 I’ve only been attending the Step Aerobics classes with Laurie, Dance Fitness with Cleopatra, and Aqua Aerobics classes with Naomi so far — and wow, these sessions seriously BURN! What incredible workouts! Each class leaves me completely energized (and yes, properly exhausted in the best way possible). The instructors are so dedicated, passionate, and motivating — they have this amazing ability to push you just enough to keep going, even when your legs are screaming! Laurie’s high-energy step routines, Cleopatra’s fun and groovy dance vibes, and Naomi’s power pact yet refreshing aqua sessions are all pure gold! Honestly, I now feel genuinely guilty if I miss one of their classes - These instructors make you want to show up and give your best every single time.”

“Love the Softplay here, it is spacious and it’s very suitable for 4-10 years old. The facilities are still quite new. Washrooms are just right in the area. There are some picnic tables for parents and children. There is a small cafe/kiosk where you can ask for some tab water. The staff here are very friendly. I have noticed there are staff cleaning and sweeping the floor here very now and then.”

“We attended a friend’s son’s birthday party at the roller skating facility within the leisure centre, and it was such a great experience! Although there was a slight delay in getting started, the overall event was amazing. The coaches were incredibly friendly and really involved themselves in the activity, making sure everyone felt included and confident on skates. The DJ played good, family-friendly music that kept the energy upbeat and fun for all ages. The whole atmosphere had such a wholesome, positive vibe. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Lovely soft play area for the kids, they have a separate under 2 section which is always beneficial however, there are no staff around to actually monitor if the rules are being enforced. There were kids hurting other kids, climbing up the slides, not giving way to others and many older children in the under 2’s section. I definitely think it’s the parent’s responsibility to keep an eye on their child/ren however some parents don’t bother and thus, the staff should step in to ensure all rules and regulations are being adhered to to minimise accidents/ issues.”
