1 / 3Partington Sports Village
đ Manchester, North West
Outdoor sports facility in Partington with quality 3G astroturf pitches, changing rooms, spectator space, electric car charging, and an indoor family room with ping pong. Pitch bookings available on weekday evenings and weekends.
Train here every week. The pitches are good quality, plenty of goal posts if you wanted to shorten the pitch or go full length, space for spectators if you wanted a match, facilities like changing rooms etc
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children in football clubs or athletics who need quality outdoor pitch access. The facility is well-maintained and welcoming for regular training. Parking gets tight during team changeover periods â arriving early avoids the squeeze.

âVisiting to support fellow club runners partaking in the Trafford 10k (March '24). A good spacious location for this event offering a flat fast route bringing in PB hunters from far and wide.â

âVisited today as the lil man was playing there. Overall a scent facility..đ.. The 3g pitch we played was decent quality. Plenty of parking on site..just on the left as you drive in or follow the road up and around to the right..with the tennis courts being used for overflow..! Staff are super friendly which we really appreciated đ...! Keep up the good work guys..! I was directed to use the disabled toilet.. Not sure if others are available to use..đ¤Ŗ.. but it was decent enough..! Ping pong table to use in which I'm assuming is the family room..nice place to wait away from of the cold...!â

âGood facility for football. Its a shame that the kids pitches are not marked with lines and they have to use temporary cones... this causes many issues when the referees are making decisions. Good location and easily accessible, parking can be tricky if you arrive during the team changeover period. Overall good facilities. 2 x electric car charging points.â

Overview
Partington Sports Village focuses on outdoor football with multiple 3G astroturf pitches and full-size grass options. Changing rooms and goal posts in multiple configurations support both training and match formats. An indoor family room with a ping pong table provides a warm waiting area. Electric car charging points are on site. Some youth pitches use temporary cones rather than painted lines, which can create issues for referee decisions.
