Came in today, when we arrived the receptionist was on the phone but made us her priority straight away. She was very warm and made us feel very welcomed. Helped us out with skate. When ordering food the blonde girl who handed it to us went and got sauces as we had forgotten them. Overall, 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back again!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children from baby to age 10 who want skating and soft play in a single visit. Staff reception and skate-fitting assistance draw consistent praise. Parents with very young children should supervise closely throughout — the venue is also accessible to adults without children.

Had our daughters birthday party there yesterday and can't thank the team and Nicole especially enough for making our little girls day one to remember. Kids loved it 👍

We came here for a change and overall had a good visit. The toilets were clean and the menu is wide and extensive with plenty of choice. The kids had lots of fun, which is the main thing. Unfortunately, a few badly behaved children (and even worse parenting) did let it down slightly. What concerned me more, however, was one member of staff. I approached her to let her know that a child had hit another child using a heavy toy as a weapon. She didn’t seem concerned and responded rudely to one of the children, saying, “You’re in my way.” As a representative of your business, staff should act professionally and either deal with issues appropriately or escalate them to someone who can. It was disappointing to see it handled that way. Overall a decent place, but better staff response in situations involving children’s safety would really improve the experience.

Taking children to Soft Play? This is not a venue for the sole use of children. Parents and Guardians of young children should be made aware that it is possible for adults to enter Playworld - without accompanying a child. Adults can enter alone. There are no extra security measures - such as barriers or check points in place to prevent adults from accessing the soft play facility. CCTV operates in the building - but does not cover all floors of the soft play. Playworld management have stated that they are not a "Childcare Facility" and it is "Parents responsibility to supervise their children throughout their visit". I am informed that staff make "regular checks" and are "trained to identify suspicious persons". However, if you would like to guarantee the safety of your children, know that you must accompany them throughout the soft play - as it is entirely possible for an adult to gain entry, bypass the skate ring and walk directly into soft play and gain access to hidden and concealed areas. The local authorities have informed me no legal guidelines are being breeched here. Alcohol is served on the premises.
