1 / 3RavensWall Climbing Centre
📍 London, Greater London
Indoor bouldering centre in West London with walls for all skill levels, Junior Bouldering Club for ages 7–17, NICAS courses, private coaching, and step-free access with baby changing. Training boards, gym area, and sheltered outdoor section on-site.
We stayed nearby for a short London city-break. It's a lovely, friendly bouldering gym with nice setting for beginners like me. There's plenty of variety in a bijou space, loads of easy climbs (as well as the harder stuff for the good climbers, of course), and the setters know how to make an easy climb interesting. Not too much hassle getting registered, and the staff are super helpful. It was cool, clean, and has a speciality item of a couple of interesting traverse walls which are great if you're getting tired and don't want the fear factor of falling off, or for building endurance. Despite it not being a huge gym, it didn't feel crowded on either of my visits, plenty of quiet corners. Recommended!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The standout choice in West London for families starting out in climbing. Junior classes for ages 7–17 are structured and well-run, and staff are confident handling complete beginners including children. The step-free access and baby changing facilities make it practical for families with younger children attending alongside older siblings.

“Although I'm not a member, I spent an afternoon watching my son climb, which gave me an excellent opportunity to check out the entire facility. RavensWall has way more than just climbing walls. There's proper gym equipment, training boards, and even some outdoor climbing spots. My son really enjoys the place and finds it much better than those pricey gyms memberships. Everyone's friendly, staff seemed really supportive, and you get great value for your money. Definitely worth checking out if you want climbing and good fitness facilities all in one place.”

“I booked last minute onto a junior class during half term for my two children and turned up. We hadn't bouldered before but the team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and the kids had a brilliant time. I even gave it a try myself and really enjoyed it. The facilities are great and clean and the walls have challenges for everyone beginner up. This is a great place to go bouldering! Thanks to the team!”

“Very good climbing center: the walls and the equipments are high quality, the center is usually not too crowded, and the staff is very nice. The walls are good for everyone from beginner to expert, with various levels of difficulty (including levels specifically made for children). The facilities also include a small gym, which is very convenient.”
