1 / 3Redcatch Park Playground
đ Knowle, South West
Well-maintained play area set among mature trees in Knowle, with varied equipment for toddlers and older children. The park also has sports courts, a running track, and a community garden that occasionally serves coffee and homemade cakes.
I've been living near this park for over 6 years now and could say this is not a ginormous but, decent sized park with a well maintained football court, tennis and badminton courts. The trees and shrubs are lovely and interesting. Lots of dog walkers and you can see the dogs running in the ground. On sunny days, I take my little ones here for a play area which is large. I run occasionally in this park as it has got great measured running track. Community garden maintained cafe is open but, not every day. Limited car parking, the facilities run out of paper and needs maintenance. Definitely recommended to relax or have a walk in the fresh air.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children who want a shaded outdoor play session without the intensity of a purpose-built centre. The community garden adds charm when open, and the sports courts give older siblings and adults something to do. Parking is tight so arriving early is worthwhile. Toilet paper runs out â bring tissues.

âA neoVictorian park. Play area is large, well maintained and varied. Park itself isn't huge but has interesting trees and shrubs, and an amazing community garden selling coffee, homemade cakes and home grown produce, though it's not open often in winter. Basic but clean toilet block.â

âWent to the park for a run and have been with my nephews and family. Nice little park for the kids, good route for a run and great area for dogs too. Wish it had some calisthenics equipment but thats just meâ
