1 / 3Roxbourne Playground
π Harrow, Greater London
Large Harrow park with separate play zones for different ages, seasonal miniature train rides, outdoor exercise equipment, nature reserve, and picnic areas. Toddler-friendly with pram access and free parking throughout.
Lovely space, very well looked after by the community, polite and responsible dog walkers too. Perfect place for a spot of photography
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families juggling multiple ages at once β toddlers have their own play area, older kids tackle the climbing and exercise equipment, and adults can walk the nature reserve. The seasonal train ride is a strong draw for under-6s. Arrive weekend mornings when the community is most active and litter is least likely to be an issue.

βRoxbourne park is a massive green park. Caters to different age groups at once by offering multiple things to do. A lovely childrenβs play area, miniature train ride, picnic spots, outdoor exercise area, tree climbing fun, massive to take dogs on walk or for running and jogging.β

βI just love this park π it's out local park, and I walk here almost every day with my beloved doggy Charlie! In the warmer months there are train rides which are Β£1 for all over the age of 2! Towards the back of the park there is a play park and a nature reserve and lots of green areas for children and dogs to run around! All other dog walkers are generally friendly and never really have any issues! Huge park, great to take picnics in the summer months, and they also have events on during the summer with live music and bouncy castles and all sorts of entertainment for all the family as well as the Roxy cafe! Highly recommend this park! Were very lucky to this as our local park it's very well looked after and we see the same familiar faces who all share the same community spirit! Very hard to find these days!β
