This place is a true community gem. We went for the first time on Tuesday after seeing an advert on facebook for their Easter holiday sessions. We booked a pony petting session for two adults and two children which only cost £20 for the whole family! This included farm entry which was a complete shock as I was prepared to pay for park admission as well! My eldest has ASD and can find lots of new experiences very frightening and overwhelming but the moment he stepped foot through the gates he was greeted by very friendly staff and loved being able to amble through the park at his own pace. The grounds have rubber mud matting in most places and the paths are clear and clean. There is plenty of signage to warn of uneven footing too. They have a lovely cosy cafe which serves proper food not just sandwiches and cakes all of which are reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and approachable. Food pots are only a £1 each and the goats would happily stand there all day for food! The petting session with Fudge was run beautifully with every step explained and information given about Fudge and how to care for him. The children loved being able to brush him and dress him up in lovely bows and even got to take him for a walk around his paddock. My eldest was very unsure about walking him but the lady running the session got down on his level and asked him if he wanted to have a go, there was no pressure and fudge was very gentle. He was so proud of himself after overcoming his nervousness. It was such a wonderful day out and only 20 minutes from Merry Hill.

“This was a lovely, very small farm, with rabbits, guinea pigs, budgies, hens, ducks, alpacas, sheep, goats- not a huge variety, but enough for a small space and to keep people entertained. The animals looked really well kept and looked after, and staff were consistently tending to them, and you could see they cared about the animals. There are petting and animal experiences to book onto for more money, but general access is very good value at £3 for adults and £2.50 for children. There’s also an option to play a small course of mini golf, which would keep young children entertained. There’s a small play area, with benches to sit down, with lots of miscellaneous toys, props and play things, which kept our children entertained. The cafe was good value for money too. Fantastic for small children, enough to keep them entertained and not overstimulating for children, grown-ups or the animals.”

“Visited today with my family for my nephew's first birthday. Prices were really reasonable, the farm was clean and tidy and the staff were all amazing! Special thanks to Evie and Shawrii who hosted the petting session. Both were really friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and are an absolute a credit to the farm.”

“Lovely little farm with added extras of a cafe, children's play area and adventure mini golf! My 4 year olds have had a lovely afternoon there with the addition of a pony petting session! The farm is perfect space and enclosed to keep little ones safe, will be going back and definitely recommend. 5*”
