“I am a fool. Do not be a fool like me. Forgot to register my car for parking and got myself a ticket. HOWEVER, the foundry team came to my rescue and helped me clear it. They didn’t have to help and I feel bad for wasting their time so don’t be like me! Anyway, thought as a thank you I’d leave a good honest review. The foundry is a brilliant gym offering world class roped climbing. I cannot get enough of the head wall. That thing is big and mean but so much fun. The setting is class as well! I really enjoyed the wave bouldering. Proper good old fashioned pulling hard and a good way to get strong. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“What a fantastic experience we had last week! Our instructors were fantastic, and gave us the confidence to climb high and go for challenging routes. All our members, plus lads from Penistone, Sheffield and Huddersfield table thoroughly enjoyed it. Topped off by an excellent partnership with a discount just for us at Neepsend Social Club & Canteen just up the road. 👌 Mike and Karl made booking the event a breeze. “Love this climbing gym. Pete is an excellent guide who can help you master those tricky moves. I had the opportunity to attend 4 beginners classes with Pete and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try climbing. Staff are very friendly and always have a big smile on. They have decent coffee and brownies to fuel yourself in between your climbs.”

“Great rope climbing here. Run by members for members, so lower entry prices than corporate chain gyms. Some really interesting routes at 6b and 6b+ - that’s what I was climbing. Super friendly staff and good facilities. Some really good bouldering too, on a wall that’s more like a natural outdoor rock. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area.”
