1 / 3The Light Stockport
📍 Stockport, North West
Multi-screen cinema with reclining seats, bowling, arcade games, karaoke, and shuffleboard. Dedicated party packages combine up to two activities with food and a dedicated host.
We held a private screening at The Light Stockport and the staff team supporting us were brilliant. Jack, Aiden and Jake really put us at ease - the film screening was amazing with excellent sound quality and picture. They helped us to run a tech rehearsal the week before as well. We also had a buffet in the event area and the food was great and the team kept the area tidy for us throughout. We ordered too much food so the staff also helped us to box up all the leftovers to take home and offered it out to our guests as they left the cinema. Brilliant service all round. Would definitely recommend using this cinema for events and private screenings. Thank you again to Jack, Aiden and Jake! ⭐️
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A reliable choice for families wanting more than a standard cinema trip, especially for milestone birthday parties where the combination of bowling, food, and a dedicated host takes pressure off parents. Younger children will enjoy toddler screenings, and the reclining seats make longer films manageable for adults.

“Excellent cinema and entertainment complex. There's always plenty of films to choose from and the seats are very comfy, spacious and partially reclining (enough legroom). I enjoy treating myself to a coffee from the bar area before making my way to the screen, staff are always friendly, especially Sharon who makes the best coffees 😍 You can get four hours free parking if you park in the Redrock carpark and you are a customer of The light cinema or doing bowling etc. However you need to enter your car registration in the tablet located next to the movie ticket selling counter. Thoroughly recommended👌”

“We visited The Light Stockport this morning to watch a film and arrived a little early, so we decided to have a hot chocolate first. Ginger Tom, a member of staff, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He even kindly brought our drinks over to our table, which was a lovely touch. It was really nice to be greeted by someone so welcoming. Ginger Tom took the time to have a friendly chat with us, which made the visit feel even more enjoyable. Great customer service and a lovely start to our morning!”

“Nice small theatre, seating is cozy, spacious and partially reclining (enough legroom). Overall is comfortable and relax which make you easily to sleep 😅 Good selection of films in over 10 screens. Four hours free parking if you are customer of The light cinema, bowling session etc. You should input your car plate in the kiosk locates next to the movie ticket selling counter.”

Overview
The Light Stockport runs more than 10 screens with spacious reclining seats and enough legroom to stay comfortable through long films. Beyond cinema, families can book bowling, interactive darts, karaoke, and shuffleboard. Birthday party packages pair activities with catered food and a dedicated host. Baby-friendly and toddler screenings run regularly, and four hours of free parking in the Redrock car park removes the usual faff of a family trip out.
