The Northwest Face Climbing Centre
📍 Warrington, North West
Heated indoor climbing centre in Warrington with 54 climbing lines including top ropes, lead climbing, and eight auto-belays, plus a 100sqm bouldering area.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I returned to climbing after a 12 year gap and 2 lots of open heart surgery. The feeling of achievement of being able to climb again, even at the lowest grade, just 4 months after my latest heart valve replacement, is fantastic.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A strong choice for families with children aged 6 and up, particularly for a first climbing experience or a birthday party in a well-managed environment. The heated facility removes the cold-climbing-centre problem common elsewhere. Staff are praised for enthusiasm and encouragement with nervous children.
