The Play Cafe

“What an amazing venue for a children's party. The venue (which is soft play orientated) looks on first blush a bit like a venue for younger children (babies to 5 years) - well we had an A*M*A*Z*I*N*G* party for a 6 year old yesterday with the soft play packed away. The venue is perfect because it is a great space in a club house (so a full kitchen and bar) and it has indoor and outdoor areas (when the weather is fabulous!). Which meant parents could chill in the garden whilst the children partied. Plus the staff couldn't be more helpful - even down to wrapping up the cake as we left! Sam has details for entertainers, party bags vendors and balloon decorators (but we only used their balloon decorator who was fabulous!!) - nothing was too much trouble and they know what works. Communication was great and the food platters were to die for. Kids don't really eat party food so we got the basic option and then a large platter of fresh fruit which went in a flash! Everything was flawless and polished and just perfect! Just look at the photos!! It's the best place to have a party locally!”

“We recently celebrated our boys’ birthday at The Play Cafe and had such a wonderful experience. The venue is beautifully decorated, clean, and always feels safe—something we really appreciate as parents. There were plenty of toys for the kids to enjoy, including a fun soft play climbing frame that kept them entertained for hours. We also booked the bouncy castle, which was a huge hit with all the children! When we arrived, the room was already set up with balloons and a “Happy Birthday” banner, which made everything feel extra special and stress-free. There’s also a lovely garden area with seating, perfect for summer! The food was great, and the bar next door was a nice bonus for the adults to relax and enjoy themselves. We’ve visited The Play Cafe before, and it’s consistently a clean, welcoming space. We’d definitely consider booking another party here in the future!”

“Every went very smoothly. Sam was very helpful and his communication regarding the party plan and the different options was great. The kids all had a great time, loved the food and all the toys available! The parents loved the food served (bagel platter, brunch platter and grazing platter). Some even mentioned they were considering the venue for their future birthdays! We were not rushed at all and the staff on site were really helpful.”

“We hosted our daughter’s 2nd birthday at the play cafe and it was brilliant, the venue is ideal with great age appropriate toys and ride along vehicles/ bikes. Excellent outdoor area and great setup that takes care of everything! Highly reccomend”
