Tittesworth reservoir is a great place for walks. There is a long walk all around the lake which is approx 5 miles and a number of shorter walks. All the paths are mainly gravel based but suitable for pushchairs. There are wooden steps in at least 2 places on the long walk. There is also a visitor centre where food and drink can be purchased and a children's play area. The play area does get very busy at weekends. There are plenty of picnic tables by the visitor centre. There is a substantial car park but only limited disabled parking. There is a charge for parking with the smallest charge £3 for 2 hours. On a sunny day it is a lovely place for a walk.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Families with children aged 5 to 8 get the most from the playground, and the reservoir walks suit all ages including toddlers in pushchairs. The combination of play, walking, wildlife, and visitor facilities makes this a strong half-day or full-day destination. Weekdays are noticeably quieter — weekends attract large crowds, particularly in summer.

Gravel paths across the site are suitable for pushchairs and most wheelchairs

First time visiting since they've redone the park and what a massive improvement, plenty for my kids aged 8 and 5 to do, climbing, sliding, swinging and spinning with inclusive swing attachments also which were easily accessible for wheelchair or pushchair. Only spent around 3 hours here and didn't go on any of the walks but the kids were well entertained
