Urban Playground
📍 Manchester, North West
Nine-hole mini golf with digital scoring, bonus point holes, and in-game prizes across three courses. Also houses The Cube — a seven-challenge team game — and a full food menu including gourmet burgers.
This was a great day out, so fun and challenging. We went to play the cube, but there are other things to play in there. You have to play as a 4 so if you go as a pair you will get paired with another 2 but is good fun allow you to get to no them and get competitive. Communication is kay with your partner and we ended up winning and getting a spot on the leader bored. Will definitely go again
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged ten and up who engage with tech-enhanced gameplay and competitive scoring. The bonus points system and digital feedback keep older kids invested beyond a standard putt. Solo couples or pairs will be matched with another group for The Cube — factor that in if your party prefers privacy.

“Had a great experience at Urban Playground! Came for The Cube and then decided to have some food. The food we had included The Daddy Burger, when leaving I spoke to the kitchen and spoke to Harvey and Tom and commended both, they both provided unbelievable food and couldn’t ask for more. I Will definitely be back for food and games!”

“Cool experience and great for all ages. We went as a group of three and the wait for the Golf wasn’t too long, however when it’s busy you do have to line up for holes, the final hole being the worst wait as you have to queue and your whole party have to go at once which was a bit distributive to the experience. Some of the holes didn’t mark the score which I noticed both in my group and a few other groups but if you look past that it was great fun.”

“Good, fun afternoon at Putters. A different kind of mini golf experience, not just about the least shots, but bonus points to be gained (and even a free drink!). All high tech. Only didn't give 5 stars as technical issues on final hole. Although saying that, the staff were on hand to sort out straight away.”
