Rooftop bowling and dining venue on the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow. Bowling lanes, panoramic city skyline views, all-day casual dining, cocktails and mocktails, live music events, and private party options.
We went for a brunch only (no bowling, no drinks) on a Saturday, at noon. Tables were getting set up so I had time to linger around a bit, the view is amazing! All the rooftops, Central Station and hills on the horizon. The venue is spacious yet accomodating, didn't feel intimidating despite its size. Funky, modern look, very friendly staff, DJ. The food was lovely - I gave 4 stars because I expected a bit more on my plate when I chose the veggie breakfast (to be fair it wasn't quantified on the menu and everything was on there listed) though it didn't leave me hungry, so I'd probably give 4.75 if there was an option. I also got a generous size of iced latte with oatmilk, so alternative milks are readily available. The staff asked about allergies, I heard they did this to other customers, too. They checked on us regularly but not too much and were all very friendly. Definitely a place I'd like to frequent, may even try the bowling area! Looks like a place where company /team nightouts could be organised as well, plenty of place to mingle, the tables were not too close to each other. Huge windows, different sizes of tables, different chairs and bar area. Restrooms are unisex with sink, dryer and soap&lotion inside the cubicles. Nice and clean.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teenagers who would enjoy a bowling outing elevated by restaurant-quality food and a striking city view. The spacious layout and relaxed atmosphere suit longer visits. Portions are large and the food quality is consistently praised.

โJust had our work Christmas brunch at Vega. Booking was from 12 until 4. Needed to order food in advance but that meant that our food arrived fairly quickly and was tasty. I had buttermilk pancakes, bacon and syrup. The set menu included half a bottle of prosecco and two cocktails. They also provided noseco and mocktails for the guests who did not drink. The service was excellent. The entertainment was really good. Lovely spacious venue. Tables aren't all on top of each other which is great. This place is a winner! We had such a fantastic afternoon. Great atmosphere, great service. We will definitely be back!โ

โIn September 2023, my daughter and I spent a gorgeous sunny afternoon in Vega. We had a meal and then went on to do 2 rounds of 10 pin bowling. We had 5 shared dishes, the portions were large and we enjoyed the food. It was not cheap but worth it for a treat and a nice day out. The restaurant itself is high up so we enjoyed the outlook. It was very convenient having the bowling on site. All in all, it was a great day out. They have a wee photo booth which is fun for memories!โ

โWe went to Vega as we were staying in the YOTEL hotel below it. My partner and I decided on bowling late on the Sunday which was great fun! The mocktails were amazing, and when we asked to customize them slightly the staff were more than happy to do so. Our favourite was the pineapple crush with no sugar and double ginger. We went twice for drinks during our stay, and both times the staff were friendly, informative, and always went the extra mile. We will be going back.โ
