1 / 3Wild Things Play Project
📍 Patchway, South West
Indoor play centre in Patchway built around natural materials — wood, wood chips, and sand — recreating outdoor play indoors. No session time limits. Play cafe serves barista coffee, TeaPigs tea, and homemade cakes.
This softplay is amazing! It's like the outdoors but indoors and it's small enough that you can sit on a table and relax whilst the kids have a great time. This is going to be a total staple for us I can tell. Hats off to the lovely staff. To all the negative reviews about how it's not super perfectly baby proofed that's actually a plus in my opinion. Safe risky play is so good for kids and I didn't find it at all risky personally. Also I think it's reasonably prices considering it doesn't have a time limit and it's beautifully done and I'm happy to play for quality.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children aged 1 to 6 who want a sensory, nature-inspired play experience that's meaningfully different from standard soft play. The no-time-limit sessions reward relaxed, longer visits. Birthday parties here receive strong feedback for the private room setup and thoughtful decoration.

“Just been to my Grandson’s 6th birthday party. What a wonderful surprise for everyone. Private room for the guests of the birthday boy to do the activities. Build a bear, arts and crafts. Delicious sandwiches and healthy snacks, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Then off to the indoor woods to play and explore with the other children in the wood. Sand area was a favourite with the children with construction vehicles and dinosaurs. We can’t wait for the next party 🥳”

“We had our daughter’s 3rd birthday here recently with the woodland theme and it was great! We walked into the party room and all said ‘wow!’. The decorations were great and really thought out out and made it super easy for us to set up our cake and party bag area. The staff made everything easy and came to bring the sandwiches to us just as the kids started asking for snacks! Everyone really enjoyed it and 2 hours was perfect for the kids to play, eat and then play again.”

“I came here today with the little one. Such a nice little place for younger kids, and plenty of tables for the adults. I wish I got the name of the worker today, she was so lovely it really elevated our whole experience! Very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be coming back.”
