1 / 2Wild Wings Birds of Prey
📍 Warrington, North West
Volunteer-run bird sanctuary near Warrington housing rescued owls, hawks, falcons, and eagles. Large aviaries, outdoor flying areas, and conservation education. Ferrets and raccoons also on site. On-site café and gift shop.
A fantastic Place for Animal lovers to visit. First of all the volunteer staff that care for these animals do an amazing job and thats evident from just seeing how happy these animals are. There is a little giftshop that sells lots of great bird related items and a Coffee shop onsite too. Such an amazing expreience to see all these birds of prey up close and to get a feel for nature. I would highly recommend visiting this brillant sight. 5 stars
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children who respond to animals and conservation stories rather than high-energy activities. Volunteers share each bird's individual rescue story, which engages children who ask questions. The quieter, more intimate scale suits children who find large zoos overwhelming.

“Really nice place with lots of absolutely beautiful predatory birds. Great to hear their stories and habits, thank you to the staff, daughter enjoyed it. Definitely will be coming back to pet the ferrets who were napping when we visited. Free parking, quiet place, picnic tables, cafe and gift shop. Worth a visit and absolute bargain on Groupon!”

“What an amazing place, with a wonderful array of birds of prey who have been rescued/ surrendered. Run by volunteers who are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the birds. I’d highly recommend this. We’ll certainly be back and will tell everyone I know about it too. Fabulous.”
