Woodhouse Moor Playground
đ Woodhouse, Yorkshire
Recently renovated playground in Woodhouse with challenging climbing structures and soft safety flooring. Adjacent basketball courts, skate park, and tennis area extend the visit for older children. Free entry.
It's a nice and clean park. The kids had lots of fun. They loved it. Theres also a skate park and a basket ball area a minute away. Theres a tennis area in this park aswell but it not right beside the playground. We enjoyed our time here.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age children who want challenging climbing equipment in a park setting with access to sports facilities nearby. Early morning visits on weekdays give families the playground largely to themselves.

âPlay park has just been re-done and is brilliant, loads of good climbing stuff for the children. Nice soft flooring. Very friendly atmosphere with loads of families making use of it. Well done LCC for the renovation.â

âGreat playground, my son loves the climbing frames and big slides. The rubber flooring is always in poor condition thoughâ

âKids play area is often full of men playing music exercising on the equipment, and groups of men huddled together. Not nice. And there's the smell of marijuana coming from the skate park next to it. But ok if you go early.â

Overview
Woodhouse Moor Playground was renovated with new climbing frames and soft rubber safety flooring, making it the standout feature for families visiting Woodhouse Moor. Basketball courts, a skate park, and tennis facilities are a short walk away. Reviews split between families who find it excellent when maintained well and those who report the rubber flooring lifting or missing in places, and corroded metal on some climbing frame sections.
