1 / 2Wyre Forest Leisure Centre
π Kidderminster, West Midlands
Modern leisure centre with certified climbing instruction, two swimming pools with lesson programmes, under-5 Active Play sessions, gymnastics and trampolining following British Gymnastics schemes, plus a gym and cafe.
Lucy is an absolutely brilliant swimming instructor. She is patient, encouraging, and explains everything in a way that makes learning feel easy and fun. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude really build confidence in the water, and you can see how much she genuinely cares about helping her swimmers improve. Lessons are always well-structured, supportive, and enjoyable. Lucy takes the time to focus on each personβs progress and celebrates every achievement, big or small. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic swimming instructor! My daughter absolutely loves her!
π Family Action Verdict
Strong choice for families with children spanning a wide age range β the climbing wall, lesson pools, and under-5 play sessions cover very different developmental stages under one roof. Swimming instruction quality draws specific praise. Parking at peak afternoon times is genuinely problematic, and membership cancellation has frustrated some users.

βI have been going to the gym for 3 years now and I love the place. My little one does a lot of activities there too. Place is always clean and the staff is absolutely amazing, itβs very busy at most of the times, however everyone is always so lovely. β€οΈ Agree however something needs to be done regarding the parking, it does get overwhelming most evenings!β

βGood gym and a variety of classes, facilities are clean and staff are friendly and professional. The only problem I have with this venue is when doing the aqua classes the sound system is rubbish and has recently just got worse, the staff taking the classes often end up shouting their instructions as the mic systems dont work properly and keep cutting out. It's very annoying.β
