Z Stockton Heath
π Stockton Heath, North West
Z features three dedicated play spaces for under-5s including a sensory zone, a Zest cafe with barista coffee, and a fitness studio. Timed sessions keep group sizes small and the space consistently clean.
I went to Z today for the first time with my little boys, aged 2 and 3, and it definitely wonβt be my last time. The boys had so much fun, and for what I thought was going to be a small soft play area it was actually perfect. My eldest who is nearly 4 has never liked the big soft plays and I felt that this was just perfect for him to be able to go and do it himself. I loved the fact that you can book your slot but donβt pay until youβre there. The pricing for the 3 of us to enter was Β£13 which I thought was great. Very good coffee and a lovely relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff. We only ordered some toast but it was very nice and came out piping hot which I feel is rare in cafes! Loved the theme and look of it inside, it just felt very homey and calm. Definitely a new favourite spot for us, and in such a convenient location!
π Family Action Verdict
Designed for children aged 1-4 who find larger soft plays overstimulating. The three separate play zones allow different developmental stages to coexist without crowding. Regular visitors come weekly β the combination of quality coffee, clean space, and attentive staff makes it a reliable choice for parents who want a calm, unhurried session.

βIβve been here more times than I care to admit since it opened but with good reason. The perfect addition to Stockton Heath! The soft play is immaculate and whilst small, given the fact itβs on the high street, itβs perfect. My little boy never wants to leave. He loves the craft table, the snacks & the kids meals are lovely too. The hot drinks are some of the best Iβve had at a soft play. Iβm a hot chocolate drinker & had a caramel one of my most recent visit. So good! The studio upstairs is gorgeous and I loved my first class with Sophie. 100% coming back to both work out & keep my toddler entertained! Nothing is too much for the staff & they are so open feedback. Iβve suggested a few things since launch which theyβve taken on board and even introduced. Would 100% recommend!β

βGrateful for Zβs on my doorstep! I take my 20-month-old every week and itβs honestly a lifesaver. The space is clean, calm, and safe, with lovely staff who always make us feel welcome. The play area is perfect for toddlers. She can move around independently, and when itβs quieter I can easily get in there with her to play or help her out (like climbing out of the ball pit!). The early-morning discount is great, and even the peak price feels worth it for the quality time we get. We usually just grab a babyccino β the food is fine, just not our go-to. Overall a solid 10/10. My daughter loves it, and thatβs what counts!β

βI visited Z today for my a 3rd birthday party and it was brilliant. A great 2hours, food and coffee was great. We go to Z every week and my son loves it. Itβs always clean and the staff are so attentive. I usually have a coffee & breakfast when I go. Recently I took my dad too and he had to English breakfast muffin which he gave a 10/10 and said heβd love to try the rest of the menu. A great place for all toddlers and a place that looks after the adults too. I nipped in the other week without my son for a takeaway coffee as it is that good! Highly recommend you visit. Thanks again & see you soon πβ
