Had such a blast here from start to finish! Parking was easy, and even with the poor weather, this is the perfect activity to enjoy in the rain. There’s plenty of covered space to sit down, eat, and grab a snack. The pizza was delicious, and the matcha I had was excellent too. Grabbing your own wheelbarrow to collect pumpkins is a novelty that never gets old, and the kid-sized wheelbarrows are a thoughtful touch for families. The bathrooms were clean, and it was lovely being able to watch the farm animals while waiting for everyone to finish up. Prices were very reasonable—I actually felt the pumpkins were worth more than what I paid. The staff were cheerful and handled the long queues at the coffee hut impressively quickly. All in all, a great experience. We'll hopefully be back next year!

“We visited Bates Farm for the first time, for their Deck the Barn event in December. We are so glad we did! It was absolutely everything you need to start feeling so so festive. Everything was so well thought out, it wasn’t too busy that it felt over crowded, which feels rare at this time of the year. We loved the choices of food and drink stalls, being able to meet some of the animals and the gospel choir concert got us up and dancing. We did all of this with our 1yo little boy and he loved every second. We can’t wait to make this a tradition and we had the best time making such gorgeous memories with our little family. Keep up your hard work girls, the local community massively appreciate it. ❤️”

“Bates Farm Pumpkin Patch is such a lovely place for a family day out. There is a huge choice of pumpkins and so much to see and do for all ages. The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, they honestly deserve 5 stars on their own. Great food and drink options too, and everything felt really good quality. Prices are a little above average but definitely fair for what you get. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, festive day out. 🎃”

“Deck the Barn was absolutely incredible!!! Please make this a family tradition for us every year. The concert by Gospel Touch was just so wholesome and festive, it felt like a film. What an amazing concept and it was really like nothing we’d ever done at Christmas before. Perfect for all the family no matter the age. Credit needs to be given for this amazing Christmas event!! ❤️🎄”
