1 / 3Big Screen Bristol
đ Bristol, South West
Large free outdoor screen on Millennium Square running daily, covering major sporting events, films, live theatre streams, and school group content. Children can play in nearby fountains in summer.
This screen is great as it does have the big sporting events on show and had an enjoyable and pleasant afternoon watching the men's Wimbledon final on Sunday 14th July 2019, which was also the longest on record. The crowd were fantastic and added to the atmosphere and you are able to take drinks, snacks and it would be advisable to take your own chair but limited supplies were supplied by "we the Curious" The weather was fitting of the entertainment and good nature of the crowd
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families attending a specific event â a major sporting final, a school performance, or a summer film â rather than a casual drop-in. The free, open-air setting makes it a low-effort outing when programming aligns with your interests.

âThis is a giant screen on the side of the building showing a variety of sporting events, documentaries, information films, and so on. A nice addition to the square and in the summer a nice addition while the children paddle in the fountains.â

âWe've seen this in action when the summer fair was on, we really enjoyed being able to sit and watch the films. I thought this was lovely and we had a good time here. Definitely hoping it's on the next time we're at Bristol.â
