1 / 3Showcase Bristol Avonmeads
đ Bristol, South West
Showcase Bristol Avonmeads has De Lux reclining screens, standard and XLR seating, sensory-friendly Sunday morning screenings, subtitled daily showings, a party room, and ample free parking. Toddler-accessible throughout.
Arguably the best cinema in bristol, lots of free parking, tasty popcorn (which is hard to find these days), amazing value with the regular seats, very comfortable reclining seats in the luxe section, the XLR seats are also very comfortable, toilets on the luxe side are nice but the ones on the regular side could do with an upgrade, some screens are offcentre such as screen 2 which can be annoying and strain your neck especially if you are on the far side, not too many adverts, screen quality and sound is great in both classic and luxe, neon signs and lighting outside is great and my favourite part of coming although its a shame it gets turned off quite early. Would be great to see an investment into a xplus screen to compete with the new odeons imax, isense and vues epic. Would be there more often if they offered a monthly subscription for unlimited films, similar to odeons mylimitless and cineworlds unlimited.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who drive and want a comfortable, well-maintained cinema with flexible seating options. Sensory-friendly Sunday screenings make this the standout West Bristol choice for families with sensory-sensitive children. The free parking and reclining seats in the De Lux section are consistently praised by parents with young children.

âCame here to see Twenty one pilots: more than we ever imagined. I had bought some tickets from a corporate discount website which I was going to use on this movie, unfortunately I wasn't able to. The staff explained that I was because it's an event screening, I was happy to pay the difference because I love going to the cinema! A great film and helpful and friendly staff made this a great experience!â

Overview
Showcase Bristol Avonmeads offers De Lux screens with reclining seats, stadium-style standard screens, and XLR seats across the complex. Weekly sensory-friendly screenings run every Sunday morning, with daily subtitled showings. A dedicated party room, on-site popcorn and gelato, wheelchair access, hearing loop, and accessible parking spaces serve families with additional needs. Driving is the practical choice â public transport to the Avonmeads site is sparse.
