1 / 2Brockwell Lido
π London, Greater London
Iconic outdoor 50m swimming pool in Brockwell Park with year-round sessions from summer swims to winter dips. Sauna facilities, a gym, yoga and Pilates classes, and a strong community atmosphere.
I came here to try the sauna, which was free to experience, and it was a great surprise. After that, I stayed to watch their last event and it was amazing to see so many people swimming together. The atmosphere felt lively, social, and very London. A really nice place to relax, connect, and enjoy something different. Would definitely come back. πββοΈπ₯β¨
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teenagers who want a genuine open-water swimming experience in a historic outdoor setting. The year-round operation and community events give it a different character from indoor pools. Open changing facilities are standard for this style of lido β families with younger children should factor this in.

βGreat to see this lido is still in action what an asset for the local people. The water could best be described as toastie on a cold winters day with the sun shining it was magical. I will be coming backβ

βHad a lovely swim here, not too cold at the end or August. The lady in reception was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the cakes in the coffee shop were over priced and not great, although the coffee was yummy πβ

βGreat lido especially on a warm day, however the disabled toilet lock is broken and overall run down. I feel there should be individual showers, not keen on the open ones. It feels expensive for a swim session especially when the facilities could be better, overall needs more improvement.β
