Without doubt the best cinema I’ve ever been to, absolutely gutted it’s not my local. Bar the BFI IMAX it’s easily the best IMAX screen I’ve been to with comfortable seating, generous leg room and a giant screen and speaker set up. It’s out of the way for me but whenever I watch films in IMAX I make the 1 hour journey to this cinema. Regular screens are solid as well, especially with the new recliners. Only slight improvement I’d make is binning the screen x and converting it to a 4dx screen. The South Ruislip Cineworld could take notes from here.

Pre-screening food from nearby restaurants is a better call than cinema snacks based on reviewer experience.

“By far this Cinema offers the best seats in the U.K. The Zero Gravity recliner seats are so comfortable and they enhance the movie experience. Also tables are provided with the recliner chairs as well. Screen X is amazing as well,the experience is really immersive and it was amazing being surrounded by three screens. The sound and temperature in the auditorium were perfect. I would highly recommend the Screen X experience with the Zero Gravity recliner seats. The Cinema is really modern and cool. This Cinema also offers IMAX as well. This Cinema is located in The Harlequin Shopping Centre(Charter Palace) in Watford Town Centre. There are loads of restaurants nearby to choose from such as Yo! Sushi,TGI Fridays and Popeyes. This is my favourite Cinema in the U.K.”

“"Just saw Avatar: Fire and Ash in IMAX 3D at Watford and it was incredible. The Laser projection makes the 3D so bright—none of that 'dim' look you get in standard 3D. The Zero Gravity recliners are a lifesaver for a 3-hour movie. The sound was shaking the floor during the battle scenes! Highly recommend sitting in the middle rows (G or H) for the best view."”

“My local Cineworld with finally recliner chairs (no price change in my membership either, hope it stays this way), so comfy & better than Vue’s seats. Even better being a Cineworld member to get 25% off snacks & drinks aswell as 25% off partner restaurants even though that part is useless to me. Some staff are friendly though. So easy to get to aswell!”
