By far the best london gym, the setting is to an extremely high standard. It’s no surprise that’s there’s a constant rotation of olympic and high level comp climbers here. If you want to get better at climbing, come here. Mabel and Hayato (owners) clearly put so much effort love and money into this space, I’d highly recommend their interview on ‘The Careless Talk Climbing’ podcast, because it really puts in to perspective how difficult it is to run an independent gym. Every single interaction iv had with the owners has been lovely, and they’ve made me feel very welcome. Such an important space for the london climbing scene and i feel very lucky this is my closest gym 😃 I’d really encourage people to support this place as much as possible !

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with older teens or young adults who already boulder and want to train at a higher standard. The owners and staff create a welcoming community atmosphere that offsets the competitive difficulty.

This gym is honestly perfect. I have been a number of times now and every time the route setting blows me away. It is just leagues above every other climbing gym in London and Ive been to basically all of them. Not only this but hospitality from the owners and the staff is amazing theyre so kind and clearly have a passion. If you get a chance to go I Couldnt recommend it more. Also the community is amazing going alone I every time have met friendly people, this place really fosters a great community and atmosphere. I do see a common complaint that climbs are hard, but that shouldn’t be a complaint thats a sign to come more and work on projects you cant do. Anyway LOVE sen I am so exited to come back soon!!

Best climbing gym in London! A ton of effort is put into amazing setting, a clean and pleasant atmosphere, and genial staff engagement with any and all customers. Difficulty is emphasized, and climbing here will definitely make you a stronger and better boulderer, whatever skill level you are at. Even as a weaker climber, I've been able to improve happily at my own pace, largely thanks to the friendly sense of community that Sen propagates. Notable amenities: spray wall, Tension Board 2 Mirror Layout, café with food and drink that are perfect for a meal before or after a session! Would Highly Recommend

Shiny new secret bouldering wall, hidden in a railway arch behind Park Plaza Hotel. This is not a gym for beginners. Generally very nicely set boulder problems, however you need a degree in cryptography to decipher the bespoke route marking system and which holds and volumes are allowed at different grades. Not sure why they are using their own system, when all other gyms use V grades. It is all nice and new looking at the moment so you must remove outdoor shoes before entering the climbing area. They could benefit from some changing facilities; they currently have 2 toilets and 1 shower/changing room.
