1 / 2VauxWall East Climbing Centre
📍 London, Greater London
Indoor bouldering centre for ages 4+ in a converted school building, featuring a distinctive central pit design, routes graded 1–6/7, a warm-up zone, cafe, and Bouldering Basics classes for newcomers. Ground floor is step-free.
Good wall, very cool design and some fun routes. Good changing rooms and very good gym. If you have been to other walls, Vauxwall is harder than Arch and maybe even a bit harder than Stronghold. (In my opinion)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best suited for families with children aged 8 and above who already have some climbing experience, or teens ready to push into harder grades. The central pit design is genuinely exciting for confident climbers.

“Great experience climbing here, quite low on V2-V3 routes as of the January set, but it changes often and it's fun to come back to if just for exploring the new boulders.”

“Such a good climbing gym. Made 2 new friends. Great sets. Good warm up zone/training area. You can see almost the whole gym from any single point. Staff are really nice.”

“Great gym! The pit in the middle is such a fun concept. It's full of hard climbs for you and your buds to project!”
