1 / 2Clue HQ Kingston Escape Rooms
📍 Surbiton, Greater London
Six themed escape rooms for teams of 2-7 players aged 8+. Staff deliver well-timed hints so groups stay challenged without stalling. Private party room available for birthday celebrations.
We had my child’s birthday party at The Experiment escape rooms, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff member, Marwan, was absolutely amazing. He helped guide a group of nine-year-olds through the room with so much patience and kindness. I honestly don’t think they could have escaped without him! He made the experience fun and exciting for the kids, helping them find clues and supporting them without giving too much away. We also booked the party room, which was really nice, and all of the staff worked incredibly hard to make everything run smoothly. Thank you so much to Marwan and the whole team for making the birthday celebration so special!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 9+ who enjoy logic puzzles and teamwork. Staff actively support beginner groups, making it accessible for first-timers. The party room setup works well for kids' birthdays where parents want a hands-off, memorable experience. Younger children below 8 may find the puzzles too demanding.

“This company has - by far - the most hospitable and kind hosts. Me and my group were hosted by a lovely Egyptian man who, after finishing the game, allowed us to take a photo of us with him in costume. The room itself was one of the best escape rooms Ive done and i have done LOADS. We did ‘The Experiment’ and we loved every bit of it. We finished with 6 minutes to spare and we had so much fun. We begged our mothers to let us go bc it was ‘too late’ and luckily our fathers ended up taking us and for that i am ETERNALLY grateful. We would have missed out on the best experience EVER!!!”

“My friend and I played End of The Line at Clue HQ and it was great fun. A well conceived setting with lots of interesting puzzles which were tricky to solve without being frustrating. The staff were timely with their clues so we were never left long without an idea of what to do. My only criticism is that one of the mechanisms in the room wasn't working so the staff member had to come in to hand us a clue which broke the immersion. Other than that it was a really good time. I'll be back to try some of the other rooms.”

“My friends and I escaped 'The betrayal of Cluetankhamun'. It was super fun and the staff looking after us, Marwan, was energetic and passionate about escape rooms. He even went through the other games and their difficulty levels.. and we will definately come back to try another one.”
