Great place to walk, Jog or cycling. Track is there to walk or cycling. Lots of greenery. Couple of bench at one end for sitting but having few more on another end would be appreciated for elderly people.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers who are learning to scoot or cycle in a traffic-free loop, or anyone wanting a short, peaceful walk. Mid-to-late March visits catch the cherry blossoms at their peak. Families expecting playground equipment will be disappointed — none exists here.

“A great little park by both Manchester road and the little brook. It has a pathway around it so good for a short walk, it doesn't have a playground though.”

Overview

De Quincey Park is a small, well-kept green loop in West Timperley with a paved circular track running beside a little brook — a practical circuit for toddlers on balance bikes or scooters. Three cherry blossom trees make it a popular destination in March. Benches sit at one end. Multiple reviewers confirm there is no play equipment, so families seeking swings or climbing frames should visit a nearby playground instead.
