1 / 3Epsom Picturehouse
📍 Epsom, Greater London
Six-screen cinema in Epsom showing arthouse and blockbuster films with a café-bar serving fresh pizzas, toasties, and cakes. Intimate atmosphere with comfortable seating, cosy lodge-inspired lounges, and full pram-friendly access throughout.
Although primarily a cinema, this is easily the best café in Epsom! The hot chocolate is excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the ambiance is spot on—clean, inviting, with soft lighting and relaxing music. Whether meeting friends or getting some work done, it’s a perfect space. I’m truly grateful to have this place in Epsom; my life feels a little richer since it opened. Thank you, Epsom Picturehouse!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and up who want a relaxed, never-crowded cinema experience with genuinely good food on site. The intimate scale and quiet atmosphere work well for children who find large multiplex environments overwhelming. Regulars rate this as a weekly ritual rather than an occasional treat.

“A marvellous cinema showing a range of films. From classics to foreign arthouse. The decor is quirky and has an art deco vibe. The cinema also has a bar/cafe with a range of drinks and food. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I come here every week as it's intimate, never busy, super comfortable and reasonably priced. I cannot rate this place enough.”
