Fifth-floor boutique cinema in St James Quarter with five retro-style screens, seating with footrests, and tableside service for stone-baked pizzas and drinks. Baby Club, Toddler Club, and Family Film Club screenings run regularly.
Incredible experience and service you cannot find elsewhere. Mo was incredibly helpful when I lost my headphones in the theatre and gave us two desserts on the house when there was a kitchen mishap. The food was out of the world, lovely staff and beautiful venue, environment was so friendly and welcoming, what a pleasant night we had!!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age children wanting a special cinema occasion rather than a routine outing. The footrest seating and tableside service create a noticeably different experience from standard multiplexes. Baby Club and Toddler Club screenings make it genuinely accessible for very young children during those dedicated sessions.

βPhenomenal movie theater! Comfortable seats (with foot rests!), great picture and sound and even drink service to your seat. The staff are so friendly and accommodated our ticket snafu. Everything from the decor to the movie experience and some after movie drinks was incredible. Thank you!!β

βFirst and certainly not the last time experiencing the cinema in style. The seating was extremely comfortable, which made the whole experience far more enjoyable. The sound quality was excellent, and I couldnβt hear anyone munching loudly, which is always a bonus!π That said, I do think there are a few areas that could be improved. As soon as we entered, we were immediately approached by a member of staff with a leaflet and directions. While I can see how this is intended to be helpful, some people may prefer a more relaxed arrival and the chance to look around at their own pace. Perhaps a notice board displaying which screen each film is in would be a good alternative. I found the ordering process slightly confusing. Staff were circulating to take orders, but no one came to us, so I ended up ordering via the app. There was then a considerable wait. I understand it was busy, but I had only ordered a couple of drinks and popcorn. If the volume of orders is difficult to manage, the system may need to be streamlined perhaps offering either app ordering or table service, rather than both. Waiting around 20 minutes for drinks and popcorn felt excessive, especially given the premium pricing. The service was a little slow. The drinks and food are quite pricey though perhaps to be expected in Edinburgh but when paying a substantial amount, the service should reflect that standard. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience overall and would recommend it. With a few small improvements, it could be exceptional.β

βReally great cinema, greeted by friendly staff. Good menu, prices are fair for location. Our film was in screen 5, small but really comfy and great sound/picture. 4 stars only because of how an allergen was handled. We ordered downstairs as a pre-order. As I ordered a vegan milkshake our server let us know there is dairy in the kitchen so cross contamination is a risk. When we were seated in the cinema our drinks came and a different server brought the vegan milkshake and made me feel really worried about possible dairy in my drink with her wording. She repeatedly told me that everything was fine but there is a risk because they make dairy milkshakes in the same area, but that everything was wiped down and it should be okay because it was clean but there is a risk of dairy. She mightβve said it 2-3 times. Cross contamination risk is ok you get it everywhere, but she made me worry quite a bit with the wording and repetition. Itβs really important that when handling an allergen or intolerance staff are really clear with their wording, and to the point. The milkshake was great and everything was absolutely fine, but it caused some unnecessary anxiety to have it addressed this way.β
