1 / 3Vue Cinema Edinburgh - Omni Centre
π Scotland
Ten-screen Vue Cinema inside Edinburgh's Omni Centre, minutes from Princes Street. Comfortable seating, friendly staff, and a reputation for respectful audiences. On-site cafe and parking available.
I have gone to this cinema for years with my friends and family. Easy and quick to get tickets and nice people. I personally don't buy snacks there since it's very expensive so I recommend getting snacks from a Tesco very close. But overall so good
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a reliable city-centre cinema with comfortable seats and genuinely attentive audiences. The Omni Centre location makes pre or post-film dining straightforward. Concession prices are high β the Tesco a short walk away is a practical alternative for snacks.

βI been first time in this cinema. Absolutely loved it. Super comfortable, good size of the screen. Many options through the day as has 10 screens. Bonus is the super friendly staff.β

βMovie price: Β£ Food price: ££ Comfort: 9/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 The cinema is located centrally, so is very easy to get to, only a couple of minutes away from Princes Street and the St James Quarter. And with over 10 screens, has plenty options each day. It is situated inside the Omni complex, alongside several restaurants and bars, which are handy for something to eat before or after your showing. The tickets are extremely cheap, even moreso if you book online prior to arriving. The regular seats are comfortable enough and you have the option to upgrade to the more spacious seats, however the regular seats are just fine. Snacks and drinks, however, are pretty over priced and probably make up for the cheap tickets.β

βOne of the few Vue/Odeon cinemas in the city where the audience are respectful. I refuse to go anywhere else as they are inundated with morons who think they can talk, go on their phones or generally not give 2 π©s about their fellow quiet-loving-I-want-to-watch-a-film-in-a-cinema-so-have-the-courtesy-to-respect-that man. Timings are good and they pretty much show everything. One star off as staff are also a wee bit moronic as they regularly forget to turn the lights off at the start of the showing. Another simple cinematic request. In short, if you want to watch a film this is a good venue as people who frequent it seemingly still know how to behave.β
