David and Ann Wilson took us tound on a personal visit, so we had it's history from the early days. They were founders. Organised place with excellent displays. We flew the Concorde simulator over the Hudson river. Great fun was had by all!

β€œTiny but fantastic aeronautical museum on the edge of the Farnborough complex. The guides are all ex aeronautical engineers/mechanics & infinitely knowledgeable from first hand knowledge. The museum is housed in Trenchard House. Viscount Lord Trenchard was instrumental in the formation of both the RFC & later the RAF, and his WWII office is upstairs, though not open to the public. Bigger items are in an expansive tent and artfully displayed. If you have the slightest interest in aviation history you'll spend a couple of fruitful hours here. PS They had just taken possession of a WWII Buzz Bomb a couple of days earlier.”

β€œI do love an aviation museum, and I rank this one right up there. Yes there are aircraft outside, but the primary focus of the museum is on the research work that was carried out at Farnborough, often by many of the volunteers that staff the museum, and I found it fascinating. The displays were very well thought out, there were some great simulators and other practical activities, and the volunteers were just so knowledgeable about the subject. I visited out of season when some of the activities weren't taking place but it was still fascinating.”

β€œFantastic hour or so! Staff were awesome, super helpful, very knowledgeable and really keen to share their experiences and knowledge. Great plus is it’s based right next to the airport with the car park being right under the landing flight path for Farnborough airport, so a lot of cool private flights coming in to land! Free admission, small but handy snacks and drinks section - and free experiences in flight simulator!”
