1 / 3Galactic Golf
📍 Halifax, North West
Two space-themed 18-hole indoor courses — Cosmic Quest and Moon Mission — bathed in UV lighting with astronauts, spaceships and space obstacles. Arcade games, licensed bar, hot food cafe, and dedicated party facilities with buffet options on site.
This was a superb venue for golfing, with a space themed course even depicting another planet! The holes do begin as sloped ones which are challenging, although this allows strategy to get through and the bases are a slick feature. Lighting effects in the enclosed room make it feel out of this world; spaceship and astronaut appear too! The course progresses with more fun over craters and the pricing was fine, staff were nice too.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older toddlers through teens who love immersive themed environments. The two-course format lets you match difficulty to skill level — do the easier course first, then tackle Moon Mission. Staff are consistently praised as helpful and attentive. The UV atmosphere and space theming land well with most ages.

“Took my grandson to Galactic golf today. We both really enjoyed it. I booked on line for a game of the golf 2 drinks and a meal each. When we got there we were seen to buy one of the many helpful staff Now I don’t know the price of each meal that was charged as it didn’t itemise this on my receipt and it was a package that was shown on line. When I got there I noticed that kids ate for £1 with one adult meal bought. I questioned this with the lady that served me and she saw my point. When we finished the alien course I thought we would give the space one a go. I asked how much just for a game and was told £12 for the both of us but she gave us it for £5 because of the query of the kids meal price... very helpful but think the package deals should be looked into, or maybe I should have looked into it further not sure. Just an observation”

“Fun for all ages. My brother and I went here on an impulse last Saturday, we'd never been and the staff was lovely and helpful in telling us how to play and what to do. We had a cheeky cosmic inspired cocktail (which was amazing) while doing the course and it was so much fun. The music playing wasn't overly loud or unbearably modern (never did I think I'd be playing minigolf while singing along to Keane). Some of the decorations have been drawn on by visitors, which is such a shame as it took away from the experience. However, it was a great couple of hours we spent in there and will definitely be going back again!”
