π Halifax, North West
Charity-run miniature railway on a 10-inch gauge track through Shibden Park, featuring two bridges, a tunnel, and a diamond crossing. Pulled by steam loco Ivor or diesel engines. Operates weekends and school holidays with special Santa Specials.
Santa Special- excellent value, great experience. Friendly and welcoming, great Santa. All proceeds to Rotary charity. Well done and thank you.
π Family Action Verdict
Excellent for families with children of all ages who want a classic miniature railway experience in a beautiful park setting. The steam locomotive and scenic route genuinely delight both young children and adults. Combining the railway with the park's playground and road train makes for a full day out without travelling far.

βGood day for the kids. Mini trains drives you (adults as well) round a little track through part of shiben Park. Cheap and fun for the kids. Also some adults may enjoy recapturing thier youth. I no I did. Lol. Also has a road train that takes you round the rest of the park. Up to the house at the top and back round again. Good day outβ
