1 / 2Manor Heath Water Playground
📍 Halifax, North West
Free outdoor water play park in Halifax with interactive water features, three separate playground areas, open field space, and an optional tropical house for a small entry fee.
Lovely little water park with various taps/ equipment to promote water play. When we went the pool just had a few streams of water running through it, however some kids soon arrived and worked on filling up a section of the pool! We took my three year old niece and she loved splashing in the puddles of water and walking through the streams of water. Great pool.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for mixed-age families who want variety in one free destination. The three playground areas mean younger and older children can find their own space, and the water features add a splash element in warmer months. The tropical house is a low-cost add-on that extends the visit. Bring spare clothes — kids will get wet.

“Great free playground area to suit all ages and sizes. ( Has three playground areas all together) there is plenty of open field spaces too for playing footy or walking the dog. They have a few picnic benches around and sometimes they have an ice cream van parked up 🍦”
