1 / 3Garnethill Park's Playground
π Glasgow, Central Scotland
A small, peaceful playground near Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow city centre. Free entry and a calm atmosphere make it a useful stop during city visits. Community art projects have been hosted here.
Lovely wee park. Twas once even nicer- 'a hidden gem' folk said...but then the local authority found out it existed. They reacted; for the first time- with swift efficiancy and duly switched off the Parks main attraction- the water feature. For its a sad, sad story- but one we are all familiar with. Welcome to Glasgow.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who need a quick, free playground stop during a city-centre day out. The tucked-away location keeps it quieter than most central parks. Younger children will enjoy the equipment and open space. Stick to daylight hours β some reviewers note groups gathering in the evenings that make the park feel less comfortable after dark.

βA hidden gem located in the heart of the city. Good to visit with friends, family or just by yourself. A quiet area only a street up from busy sauchiehall street, perhaps often overlooked by itβs tucked in location.β

βIt's a pretty park! Though it can be a bit sketch at night, there seem to be some groups of younger men gathering there at times. Not to say they're definitely nefarious but it is a little uncomfortable.β
