1 / 2Linn Park
π Glasgow, Central Scotland
One of Glasgow's largest parks, running alongside the River Cart with accessible waterfall, woodland walks, and grassy rest areas. Trail options range from flat riverside strolls to longer woodland routes.
Beautiful park to walk in with it'd waterfall and White bridge on the River Cart. Not the best day for a visit as after this spell of dreadful, persistent rain, many parts of the park are waterlogged and very muddy. Like nearby Rouken Glen the park is a dogwalkers paradise. The waterfall was in full spate today and was a wonderful sight. Some paths are closed due to landslips, again cos of the heavy rain. Lets hope for some dry weather in May.π³
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who enjoy proper nature walks rather than structured play β the waterfall is a genuine highlight children remember. Bring wellies after rain as lower paths waterlog quickly. Those driving from further afield will find free parking makes the trip straightforward. Allow at least two hours to do the park justice.

βIt was a sunny, winter afternoon & I loved the stroll around the park. The waterfall is a must see if you visit the park. And what's nice is you can choose your walking trail based on your time availability, physical fitness and/ preferences etc. - there's so many trail options to choose from!β

βBeautiful Southside parkland running alongside the River Cart. Woodlands and paths are clean and tidy. There is an accessible waterfall and lots of grassy areas with benches to rest. Itβs peaceful, simple and relaxing. One of the largest and nicest parks in Glasgow and well worth a drive to.β

βHuge!!!!! Such a huge park i was there for about 2 hours walking around. It was absolutely beautiful. No flowers but it was still a nice walk. All the leaves are coming back. Wish I could've stayed to see the flowers.β

Overview
Linn Park covers extensive Southside Glasgow terrain alongside the River Cart, with clean woodland paths, an accessible waterfall viewable from a safe vantage point, and open grassy areas with benches. Multiple trails let families choose their distance and terrain. The park is a popular dog-walking destination. Paths become muddy and some sections may close after prolonged heavy rain. A play area sits within the grounds for younger children.
