1 / 2GO Action Forest - Paintballing / Laser Tag / Kids School Holiday Adventure Camp
π Whyteleafe, Greater London
Forest adventure venue spanning 50 acres with themed paintball battlefields for ages 8+, forest laser tag for ages 6+, and kids' holiday camps. Free parking, on-site catering, and dog-friendly grounds.
Great day out at Go Action. Had a weekend morning attendance for Go Laser Tag for a kid's party. Our group's youngest was 7 and eldest 10 year old. A group of 10 kids. The entire activity plus lunch was 2.5 hours. Toilets are clean, but not plentiful. On our visit the weather wasn't with us. It was heavily raining. All the kids turned up with heavy jackets, which they promptly had to take off to get the camouflage jump suits on. The guns themselves track their hits on target (each other) plus when they get hit (with lasers) they colour code and lock, so they have to wait to be revived after a set time. On our day, a slim waterproof jacket under the jump suit was ideal. Plus a change of boots, socks and leggings. It was so much fun for the kids. They wear coloured arm bands to denote different teams. The actual gaming takes place in the woods, adjacent to the covered seating area. You can follow them round, but it's there game, so spectators get relegated to the shop for a coffee. Food is pizza hut pizzas and chicken. Which you can add to on the day, so everything arrives at the same time. I'd recommend turning up on time, rather than early as there was lots of waiting. There is parking, there's no rush, as you have to wait for each other to leave. If you end up arriving late, you go in anyway. Plus you're first out of the car park. Satnav was a couple of hundred meters off for a couple of the parents. Just use common sense and keep going, then you'll see signage. Go Action also offers proper paint ball, in other parts of the woods. So completely safe for the kids. The activity is broken down into 2 x 40 minute games, with a 10 minute break in between for water and rest. There's a platform for taking group photos. The photos don't include the guns. Will definitely visit again.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for active children aged 7 and above wanting an outdoor adrenaline experience β laser tag suits younger children in the 6β10 range, as paintball works best from age 10 upward when children can handle the physical impact. The woodland setting and 50-acre scale make this a full half-day commitment. Dress for mud and weather, not comfort.

βGreat choice!!! We went there for my son's birthday - he turned 15 years old. I booked the spot for 10 players 2 weeks in advance. Since then they were amazing answering to all my questions, making all our requests possible and being kind from the begining till the end of the party. We were allowed to order more food, we were allowed to bring cake and other snacks. They are dog friendly so our Toby had a great day out between lots of humans that went by, said hello, spoiled him with lots of love. He is a Labrador so he totally loved the attention. On the other hand the kids seemed to have lots of fun in the wood, making strategic fights, being able to be as loud as they felt like, dancing, singing in the breaks. All the people that are working there are lovely, young, extremely energetic and enthusiastic. I was so tired at the end of the day, they were still smiling kindly to everyone doing their job! I saw people leaving rubbish everywhere, the employers were cleaning after without any problem, smiling- I would have been a bit disturbed by that, to be honest. Anyway, great day out- amazing staff, nice wood and almost everything is allowed. Thank you for a fantastic day! Go action!β

βWe all had an amazing time at Go Action paintball! It was our sons 16th birthday and we couldnβt have picked a better way to spend it. The games were brilliant and the venue was amazing and the staff were very professional and went out of their way to make it special for Zion. We will definitely be coming back!!β

βBest organized paintball experience around London. Had a blast! One note for the organizers is that the guns have safety switches so please ask players to use them before the games so they donβt accidentally shoot each other at point blank!β
